I was born and raised in Miami, Florida where my passion for art began at a young age. Beginning my first creative movements with ink and graphite on paper, I was always captivated by the arts since early childhood. As a self-taught artist, my inspiration began with the interest for the feminine curves found in tribal tattoo designs and thus began to adapt this into a style of my own.
Several years later, I decided to step out of my comfort zone and experiment with oil and acrylic paints- it was then that I discovered a profound connection and began to channel this through the movements of my brushstrokes. Scratching beneath the surface, I bring self-interpreted energy and emotions to my work through a unique balance of color, composition and texture.
Most recently, I am working on an up-cycled art project that involves the creation of handmade lamps from premium liquor bottles that would otherwise be thrown away and not recycled. Implementing my experience with abstract painting that subconsciously flows from within- my creativity has transformed into the lighting design ideas that have shaped the creation of my unique one-of-a-kind handmade lamps.
